July 3rd

Aloha! In partnership with AIM (Advocates in Motion), EDS will be running the Pioneer Center Annual Picnic. For those who were not here last year, the Vocational Department Sponsors an annual picnic for clients in Pioneer Industries, SOAR, Bridges and EDS. A delicious catered lunch is provided and served by staff. However, the EDS clients actually plan, organize and run the events.

This year, the clients picked a Hawaiian Luau Theme. The clients have a variety of things planned from a water balloon toss to a hula contest. This event give s the EDS clients the opportunity to take the leadership role and show off their skills. Get ready to have some fun! Aloha!

Rachel on Vacation

Just so you know, I will actually be taking a few days off. I will be going to Canada to visit family over the weekend. I will be out of EDS from June 26 through June 30th. I will return on July 1st. Britt will be taking care of all the EDS business, and I'm 110% confident that she can handle any issues that arise. Thanks, Rachel

Volunteering Canceled

The Salvation Army contacted EDS this week with sad news.

It turns out that we are no longer needed to volunteer for the Donut Days this Friday.

Please know that EDS will continue to investigate other volunteer opportunities this summer.

If you have any good ideas of where EDS can volunteer, please don't hesitate to call!

Thanks, Rachel
