EDS Year End Review
The Craft Fair and Job Fair went very well. We had a good turnout for both.

Announcing the EDGE
On September 19, 2011 Employee Development Services started a new track called the EDGE business training center. EDGE stands for Educating Determined and Gifted Entrepreneurs and will explore self employment and small business building. Our traditional classes continue for community employment readiness.
Introducing our newest members Steve, Amy, Jason and Micki.
We're keeping busy with several projects: we will have a job fair on November 30th. Everyone is responsible for presenting the career or job of their choice. We will once again be responsible for greeting, cashiering and customer service at the annual craft fair. Our craft ideas are in place and we are starting to make them.
Dan and Terry will be starting the next Janitorial Training Skills program soon. Amanda and Melissa started working with CES for job development.
A Dress for Success day is planned on either Wednesday, October 19th or Thursday, October 20th for an updated portfolio photo opportunity.

EDS Corps 2nd annual job fair

Mock interviews for the 2nd annual EDS Corps Job Fair are now complete. By next week all positions will be filled and posted. Thank you to all the candidates who dressed for success, came prepared and gave great answers to the questions. Good luck!
Congratulations to the Presidents

The Women's Group learned about firsts. With the office of U.S. President still not on the list, they decided to hold an election for the group.
The candidates spoke about their issues: health care, fun, fashion, gossip, fundraising for animal shelters and other great topics.
Congratulations to Claire and Heide M for your c0-presidency!
