Funding is a Hot Topic and you need to pay attention!
ALL OF EDS THIS MEANS YOU!!!!
As you know, there was a lot of activity at the state level about funding, and the was
a breath of relief when funds were restored for the grant programs.
However, the funding was only reinstated until the last day of December of 2009. In order to keep dollars coming into the program, there will be a funding conversion to a
Medicaid waiver program.
This mean, the individuals attending program in the Pioneer Central building , need to become Medicaid waiver eligible. (*yes, there are a few exceptions and you know who you are!)
This will take several steps, but let's get one piece done at at time!
So step one, is to be on Medicaid.
If you have Medicaid, GREAT! Send a current copy in right away for the file ASAP!
If not, get the process going!!!!
